Badong (Fernando Poe, Jr.) is an auto mechanic who dotes on and protects his daughter with his life. His daughter Joey (Judy Ann Santos), a young lass with tomboyish manners, uses her father to bully everybody. With his meager income, Badong saves up to secure Joey’s college education. Father and daughter are very close that they guard each other from other potential relationships. Joey is jealous and doesn’t want his father to marry again, until Joey's grandmother (Anita Linda) divulges a shocking truth that might cause a permanent rift between Badong and Joey -- unless their affection proves to be more resilient than they themselves presume.
